About Shadow Match
A shadow appears — a dark outline of something. Three pictures sit below it, and only one has that exact shape. Tap it and the shadow lights up. There is no timer and nothing to lose: a wrong tap just wobbles, and your little one can try again. A gentle first exercise in looking carefully at shape rather than colour.
Shadow Match is one of our memory & attention games for kids. This one plays in the iPhone and iPad app rather than in the browser, but 33 of our games are free to play right here — browse the full library to find them. It is also in our games for toddlers and preschoolers collection.
How to Play
- Look at the dark shadow at the top.
- Tap the picture below that has the same shape.

Tips & Tricks
- Trace the outline with a finger and compare the edges.
- Colour doesn't help here — only the shape does.
