About Code the Critter

A gentle first taste of real coding. Build a plan out of simple commands — forward, turn left, turn right — then press Run and watch the critter follow your code step by step to collect every carrot. If it bumps a wall, your plan stays put so you can fix it and try again — which is exactly what real programmers do. Ten mazes that grow from a single step to loops you can repeat, and every one was checked by a computer to make sure it can be solved (and the fewest moves it takes).

Code the Critter is one of our free puzzles & logic games for kids — play it right here in your browser, or browse all our free online games.
