A picture appears with its word underneath — sock. Three more pictures sit below, and only one of them rhymes: clock. Tap any picture to hear it said out loud, so a child who cannot read yet can still play by ear. The rhyming ending is coloured in every word, so a child who is beginning to read can see the pattern as well as hear it. No timer and nothing to lose.

How to Play

Tips & Tricks

• Say both words out loud together — rhymes are easier to hear than to see.
• The coloured letters at the end of each word are the part that rhymes.
• Make up silly rhymes of your own afterwards: cat, hat, bat, mat.
